Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot from 8am on 22nd April #carboot, 22nd April 2018, 8:00 to 14:00 at Stonham Car Boot, Pettaugh Road, Stonham Aspal (20.1 miles)

Stonham Barns Traditional Sunday Car Boot on Sunday 22nd April 2018 from 8am #carboot

Much better weather last Sunday, after the fog and a good turn out. Great weather this Sunday and lots of sellers expected. Covered stalls booking fast. The crowds should then grow each week and we expect the number of sellers & Buyers to overtake last year's high figures. Come and have a great day out at Suffolk's friendliest Sunday Car Boot.

Make sure you turn up & sell from Five Pounds. Covered stalls are Ten Pounds (Let me know ASAP if you want one by texting 07817539168 to reserve NOW - you can book any Sunday at any point). We also have the additional bonus of regular events that run at the same time as the Car Boot so check the link so you can sell to the extra crowds. There are many more Events at Stonham now which means that we will have many more sellers and of course many more buyers.

The next event is the Natural Dog Show on May 6th. If you haven't been to Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot come this Sunday 22nd April and you'll love the friendliness of Stonham. Better still you can still sell from £5 (no need to book). Just turn up from 8am. Below is a little bit more about Stonham and the Car Boot, make sure you visit our Web Page and Facebook pages as it tells you a lot more about Stonham and what is going on weekly as it rarely is the same each week. We are open from March till November every year.

Stonham Barns Car Boot is still the one to go to if you want a completely stress free day without the buyers climbing into the back of your car We had 150 sellers on some weeks last year and we are lucky to have buyers that actually buy. Stonham is known for its one off sellers and Antiques (as well as all the normal Car Boot items) and in our Sixth year we are getting a good regular crowd of sellers and buyers. Everyone loves Stonham as its unbeatable when the weather is good. It has a great atmosphere, a knowledgeable friendly crowd made up of all ages. Families, young and old, It's dog friendly and caters for the disabled. You can still sell from Five Pounds right up to Ten Pounds for Covered stalls. These are really a hit with the sellers as you can book by texting 07817539168, pull up behind, set up and sell and pack up and leave at the end of the day. Alternatively, we are still the cheapest in Suffolk so you can just turn up from 8am and sell.

If the weather's good Stonham is a great place to sell & you won't find a friendlier Car Boot and such a friendly buying crowd plus there are always great bargains as we are renowned for our one off novice sellers. We are also on the Coastal Route & in Summer have the Campsite and Holiday Homes full up and filled with Car Boot lovers and so many visitors to the Attractions and shops. If the sun comes out Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot is so popular.
We are outdoors only but offer covered stalls. We try to open every week irrespective of the weather as we still get buyers and sellers.

The prices are Five Pounds Cars, Small Vans Seven pounds Fifty so are Cars with Trailers, Large Vans are Ten Pounds, Covered stalls are also Ten Pounds. Buying is free as is parking.

Barb Jungr, 27th April 2018, 19:30 at Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Keepers Lane, Leavenheath (6.7 miles)
Jungr returns to the writing of Bob Dylan again and again to explore the richest veins of inspiration. One of the very finest vocalists around, Barb does not just sing songs, but, based on her deep insightful understanding, completely inhabits them in her own unique way. She delivers lyrics with enveloping emotion, by turns rich in passion or tenderness, anger or humour and her performances are honed to a perfection which renders the word â??interpretsâ?? wholly inadequate.
Joining Barb is Australian pianist Jenny Carr who has worked extensively with her over the years and always provides sensitive accompaniment with increasingly jazz infused solos overlying her classical roots.
Dudley Phillips has worked regularly with many singers including Amy Winehouse, Bill Withers and of course Barb. Expect an emotional roller-coaster that will invite you to reflect on the world in which we live, but always with the safety net of amusing and sometimes downright hilarious commentary, delivered in Barbâ??s own inimitable style.

Daughter, Daughter - Before I Met You, 4th May 2018, 19:30 at DanceEast, Jerwood Dance House, Foundry Lane, Ipswich (13.6 miles)
She is a shadow, she is a mirror.

Daughter, Daughter peers through the keyhole into the pervasive experience of fatherhood. A split moment and the world is unrecognisable. Without warning, everything takes a new meaning. The depth of responsibility, love, guilt and lack of control. The anxiety and the pride. A feeling of being reborn and wondering - how did I live before?

Inspired by real stories from men and their daughters, this show is a highly physical and emotive new dance show about fatherhood. Joseph Toonga shines a stark and honest light on this profound experience through his abstract and signature hip hop and contemporary style.

In 2015, Joseph Toonga was the first recipient of DanceEast's Choreographic Development Fund, enabling his continued artistic development. Joseph was commissioned to make To Be Felt, a spectacular celebration of live cello and dance which was performed at Orford Church in 2016, and as part of the Roman River Music Festival in 2017. DanceEast is proud to continue this relationship as commissioning partner of Daughter, Daughter - Before I Met You.

Bounceability meet at 157 Colchester Road, Colchester Road, West Bergholt (2.1 miles)
Bounceability is something we are born with. Think about a child learning to walk. No matter how many times they might stumble and fall, they get right back up again and try again until they get it right. The trouble is that as we grow up our view of the world is shaped and fashioned by our experiences, and sometimes we become fearful of trying again. We get stuck into negative patterns of behaviour and ways of thinking and sometimes just don't know how to change. Have you got stuck or just forgotten how to be happy? Have you given up trying? Maybe you could use some Bounceability.
So whether you feel as if you are in a rut but can't figure out how to get out of it; if you have made bad choices and are struggling with the consequences of your decisions; if you have a bad habit that you want to eliminate; if you want to lose weight or stop smoking; if your nerves are getting the better of you or if something outside your control has had an impact on your life, or whatever is stopping you from living the life of your dreams, you need some Bounceability.
