The Peldon Rose is a beautiful 15th Century Coaching Inn of immense character and ambience, famous locally as an old smugglers inn. Homemade food utilises only the finest, fresh local produce, notably Mersea Island fish and oysters and quality butcher meats. We are Cask Marque accredited, and offer an excellent selection of real ales and our extensive, award Winning Wine List boasts over 40 New and Old World wines (supplied by Lay & Wheeler) with over 20 available by the glass. Children are very welcome with baby changing facilities and high chairs available on request. Disabled access and toilets are available through the conservatory.
